The mother of Darlington teenager Ashleigh Hall, who was killed after she allegedly met a man on Facebook, has blasted the social networking site for failing to protect youngsters, The Sun says.
Well, I am blasting the Mother of this teenager who is too stupid to realise that she can’t expect the internet to bring up her child.
Yes, a child has died.
Yes, it’s a very tragic story.
No, the internet is not to blame, least of all Facebook. Millions of people use Facebook everyday.
Are they dead? No.
Why? Because their parents brought them up right and take responsibility for what their children do online and who their children meet.
In conclusion, we live in a society that “Passes the Buck” instead of actually taking responsibility for the shit they get themselves in.
